ABOUT BYLI
Investing on the youth is always a wise investment. It yields good and bountiful returns not only to today’s generations but also to future generations and to our country.

Mark was inspired to contribute in making this country a great nation by providing the youth with leadership trainings and team building seminars and workshops. He sets out to help young people make a difference and become positive catalysts for change—in the home, school, workplace, and community – through leadership and action.

He has a life-changing experience as one of the 28 Philippine Youth Ambassadors who represented the country in the 2008 Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP) of Japan and ASEAN. He has also various exposures in youth and leadership development.

Mark believes that the basic of leadership starts in the ‘self’ on the premise that we are all leaders. His framework is that an individual Filipino youth should be enhanced by developing the leadership within them, making them grow and raise good families that comprise the community… and create a great nation.

The Borres Youth Leadership Institute (BYLI) is an offshoot of Mark’s passion for a better tomorrow. It provides leadership trainings and team buildings among student and youth leaders.

BYLI’s mission is to inspire and develop Filipino community of youth and volunteers to leadership and action. Its vision is to form and empower the youth by providing them leadership development opportunities through leadership trainings and team building seminars and workshops.

BYLI focuses on the holistic development of the youth by providing activities relative to their psychological, physical, mental, social, cultural, and religious growth.

As of today, BYLI has started to conduct trainings with and has inspired more than 1000 student and youth leaders from different municipalities, schools, colleges and universities in Western Visayas.

On January 7, 2010, Securities and Exchange Commission issued a Certificate of Incorporation to BYLI as a non-stock, non-profit corporation.
